How much to fit tyres if I supply them myself?

Looking at sourcing my own tyres this time and getting a garage to fit them.

What sort of price should I expect for labour?

In theory, fitting and balancing new tyres is about 40 minutes job for one tyre fitter, so it shouldn't cost more than 30-40 quid in most places comparing to other services requiring same amount of labour.

Unfortunately finding a garage willing to do it for less than 15 a corner (€60 together) is a real struggle, with some garages quoting prices well in excess of €100 purely just to penalise you that you didn't buy tyres from them.

Just ring a few tyre places. The average for fitting and balancing is around 15e a corner.

Depends but 10 or 15 per tyre is common
Ring around and make sure you have someone before you buy, as not all tyre places will be willing to fit tyres they didn't sell.
