How to access showers?

I'm going to be wanting to access the student showers around UL this semester, for example, the one by the service area of stables. But how do I actually do this? Do I need my student card, or need it to be unlocked by someone? Any info appreciated :P

Email smartertravel@ul.ie for access with your Student Number, and they will code your ID card for use. Really good facility. There is also a shower in the Basement of the Library.
