It baffles me as to how kerry milk suppliers who feel they have been under paid by the agribusiness for the last 3 years , who at every plc meeting come out in force waffling on about milk price then turn around in their droves at this very minute and buy feed and fertiliser from the plc .
    Wtf.
Their are so many other options out there .cop on guys .

Is the north Kerry place you're talking about somewhere between listowel and ballyheigue?
It's a few years since I passed it. Buford would probably know?
Do you deal with boherbue?.....only over the road and quite competitive.

Don't know where in North kerry but it's talked around east kerry , North Cork about yara pushing great prices up in North kerry .
Don't know of any rep this side of tralee .
May be a few of the North kerry mafia might let us in on the deal .

    Howard's well priced , but that's relative....

Yara are manufacturers. Most other suppliers in Ireland are compounders, who buy from manufacturers...

    Manufacturers are causing the gouging....

Before we suddenly get very complimentary towards a particular manufacturer, please note the colour of the leopards spots....

Remember Dawgs price of Urea in France.....€266

You will be quoted 340/370 in Ireland today....

Game also being played by suppliers of course as many will have taken the punt last Autumn and will now be sitting on pretty substantial gains....cant blame the risktaker though..

Fair enough lads but how do you buy product from someone you consider to have under paid you are in no rush to pay and yet they go door knocking for you to place a order .
Farmers need to stand up and stop bending over

I don't fancy your chances on that happening

Urea €290/t for the coming week here, and gaining momentum...

Merchants bought last July/Aug for €240/250t and they all held the line...nice touch.
Then again everybody had the same opportunity to buy at that price back then.

Full springs urea in the yard at €285 per tonne. Bought in October, delighted now

Bought our 2018 full compliment of fertiliser in October too. Only a few ton of Urea in that. €305/ton I think.
In hindsight it's a lot more fertiliser than I need.

Looking like urea will continue to harden.

Boss told me to buy early last Aug but I was distracted by other issues. Ended up buying the week before last. Cost me 15k extra. Very bad management...
I don’t get on well with urea so use straight AN.
