Hi...quick question - fairly sure I got caught ban van over limit on dual carriage way this evening. :( I have recently changed address...I was going to update all but want to make sure now to do it as its likely points will be issued. However is it the license or car tax registration that I need to change or both?…

I have recently changed address...I was going to update all but want to make sure now to do it as its likely points will be issued. However is it the license or car tax registration that I need to change or both? Basically wondering what system they use to issue points?

If you were stopped it will be issued to whatever address you give to gardai. If not stopped it will be issued to address of registered owner of car.
