Ideal Logic Gas Boiler quote

Valve has just gone on our Sirrus Radiant and our contact says they’re rare but he sourced it in UK for 230+VAT.
He said prob better to upgrade and pay 2k for Ideal Logic Boiler.
A few questions.
1. Does this price and Boiler make sound reasonable?
2. Is there a case for investing more or is the Ideal Logic a good Boiler.
Maybe I’m wrong but I thought I heard a relative say in the past that 10k would be the cost of a brand new boiler.

There is bettee boilers out there than the Ideal Logics,a Bosch would be far superior.

Whats included in the quote he gave you?
Make sure it includes a power flush and a magnetic filter

Thanks. How much should I expect to pay for a Bosch?
Is 2k a reasonable quote for an Ideal Logic assuming Power Flush and magnetic filter are included?

Couple of other things to consider if you do upgrade gas boiler. What about a Combi boiler, it does away with your cylinder, that’s if you don’t have any showers off the hot water from cylinder. Also a Combi gives you instant hot water once it’s called for.

I maybe wrong but a standard Bosch Worcester is around 900 euro - 1k.
