    Guys,

Hope you can help me out here and give some guidance.

I am looking for a medium family hatchback €5-8k, that can fit 3 booster seats across the back seats.
I'm looking for a 5 door, petrol 1.3 - 1.7, 2010+, not too big & not too small! with a proper service history.
I am finding it really hard to spot something out of all the drudge, small cars & bloody diesels.
Diesel is out as we only covered 13000km over the last 3 years and expect similar for the next 3.
I am unfamiliar with the brands the searches are throwing up...
Is there something I should be looking out for?

    Thanks
    JK

What brands are being thrown up?

Hyundai i30 - looks ok- not sure on size
Opel Astra - fine for me -
Honda Civic- all seem well worn or no provenance
    Vw golf - not allowed
Merc b150 - like it, but no idea on whether they are any good

Most others tend to be the smaller class, i.e. Ford Fiesta, Yaris etc.

    Any thoughts?

I think the i30 would work with 3 boosters.
Civic is big enough in the back but the doors are very small so would be hard if you have to lift kids in and deal with belts.
Wouldn’t be a fan of that model Astra, they’re just a heavy slow pig of a yoke IMO

I'd check out the Merc, they're a good size, engine is pretty much bulletproof, they're not pleasant to drive but relatively comfy and safe.
