I am the executor of my aunt's will. Have little or no legal knowledge so just wondering if the quote (finally) given to me by solicitor for their fee is in the ball park.
Estate value is approx 440,000 (house worth 375 K plus various accounts). His charge will be EUR 3,500 + VAT + outlay. There is a also a fee of approx EUR 1400 for work he did before she passed as work for appointing a care representative and changing something to do with title of the house.

Just want to make sure estate is not getting ripped off :)

    TIA

There may be other aspects of the estate which will affect the effort involved and which posters cannot quantify. In other words it's probably difficult for people here to evaluate that quote based on a short description from you.

If you want to know if it's a competitive quote, get a quote from a different solicitor.
