    Hi

Would anyone be able to recommend a good carpet freshener (not Shake n Vac) for the interior carpets?

    TIA

Depends, do you just need it so smell nice?

If your carpets are damp or smell then I suggest getting them proper clean and dry instead.

You can throw baking soda on them and leave for a few hours, then vacuum it up.

Yeah, I've used baking soda in the past, but it doesn't always vac up cleanly. I just meant some smelly stuff. Of course, the carpets would be shampooed at some point as well.

    Thank you for the reply!

It could be worth trying a wet-vac, maybe even asking a valet to do it professionally this time.

If the nature of the smell is organic e.g.. milk or vomiting then you need something with enzymes, rug doctor has lots also autoglym odour eliminator works good.

If all you want is to freshen the carpet up, try 1001 carpet fresh spray (pic attached)

You can pick it up in Tesco for €2-€3.

Hoover carpet then spray this on and let it dry. Works a treat.
