The online service I'm talking about is this,ul.sybernetsps.ie/ulvivr

Just out of curiosity, what screen does it take show/take you to after you have clicked "pay now"?

DCU seems to be using the same payment system dcu dot sybernetsps dot ie /dcupayments/dcu/ (new boards account; cannot post links yet).

Here, the "Pay Now" button redirects to pay dot realexpayments dot com where Visa and Mastercard payments can be made, asking for the usual info (card number, expiry mm/yy, security code and cardholder name) and for pressing another "pay now" button. This probably will be followed by whatever security checks your bank / card provider has set up.

While there is no information on sybernetsps online, the fact that above URLs appear on an official DCU webpage and in a PDF for prospective students on the UL website under "UL Student Fees - How can I pay?" respectively gives them some credibility. The sybernetsps dot ie domain name has been registered in 2016. The page www dot realexpayments dot com redirects to www dot globalpayments dot com, where it says they have offices in the US, UK and Ireland.
