Irish Water Connection Application

Question for IW support. I lodged a pre-enquiry with IW a few weeks back and now I have received a letter confirming availability of service at my location. Letter received states I need to complete a connection agreement online.

The link on your website is asking me to again submit maps etc which I have already done. Is this the correct way to proceed. Seems like I am reapplying and submitting the same information I already have submitted.

I can supply more info in private mail.

    Thank you.

    Hi fearmhor18,

Thank you for getting in touch.

You need to submit a new application form, completing it in full and providing maps. You will be providing similar information as previously, however this is the process.

    Kind regards,
    Agata

    Hey Irish Water,

I would be grateful if you could assist me with my query. I applied for a new water connection 3 months ago but still haven’t heard back as to when the connection will be put in?

I have emailed several times but am told it’s with a field engineer and someone will be in contact soon, but haven’t heard anything yet. What is the usual timeline for a response?

    Thanks

    Hi

We are in the middle of a site purchase and we needed to know if we could get a water connection and the estimate of costs for this. I have submitted an application but its taken ages and we only have a limited amount of time for site purchase completion.

Should i have put in a query or something else instead? Its been almost 5 weeks and we haven't heard a thing from Irish Water, Always with the engineers when i ring.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Rachel
