    hi,

I wanna start mixing to prolong my ejuice.

Have you guys bought ordinary glycerine out of high street stores? Is it safe for e-juice mixing?

I bought a big bottle in Dublin labelled "Refined Glycerine BP" I wanna know if I can use it safely.

    David

Yeah, it is fine although an expensive way of buying it. If I get low on VG, I pop into Boots or my local chemist for a bottle. As I said very expensive way of procuring it. Example would be -
    https://www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/shop/pg-vg/vegetable-glycerine

which is about what you would pay for a 150ml bottle from a chemist which is often this stuff-

TLDR, Good to go but expensive.

Just to add, I normally get the 2.5 litre bottle from Dark Star for £6.99. That will last a bit!

Shipping is pricey but you can use Address Pal or Parcel Motel. Bear in mind its heavy therefore the costs. Anyway I usually order other stuff at the same time such as concentrates for DIY and usually just put in large orders about twice a year. There are discount codes available which if you are ordering a fair bit offset the shipping costs.
There are Irish vendors such as Pick n Mix-

Most Irish Vape shops also supply it, I'm sure some other people here can draw your attention to which particular ones are best.
Anyway, if you are basically just diluting existing juices with VG you are probably fine with the odd bottle from your local chemist.
I, like many others here make my own juice from scratch and that's where the monetary savings come in. Admittedly not so much now post TPD, a lot of people stockpiled Nicotine (if you use it). I have enough Nic bottled and frozen to last me about 25 years!
You should consider making your own, its waaay cheaper than buying shop bought stuff and its surprisingly easy to do. No rocket science involved.
On a personal note, I have been making my own for several years and much prefer the taste of my own as I can control the ingredients to make a tailor made juice to suit my preferences.
Again a lot of good information on this forum, for example-

Thing is, if you can follow a basic recipe and with a minimum of equipment you can make your own juice for literally cents as opposed to euros.
There are loads of resources about recipes out there such as-
    http://e-liquid-recipes.com/

The Boards thread that I linked above is a good place to start and if you have any questions feel free to ask, if I can't help you there are plenty of people on here with the expertise to help you.
Long answer but hope it helps!

I have grabbed a bottle of Glycerine from the chemist when I've run low, it's pricier but still works out a lot cheaper than buying over priced 'premium' juices. Once it has 'BP' or 'Pharma grade' on the bottle it is perfectly fine.

I usually get my VG from Darkstar, if you're buying concentrates along with, even at 9.99 delivery you are saving a lot over time. 30ml of TFA concentrate for £3.50 - you're getting anything close to prices like that over here. Some sites charging that for a 10ml

Use this code and treat yourself to some concentrates, it'll work for TFA and Dark Arts: DS35
