Bike to work & tax credits

    Hi guys,

    My brother is asking me to use the bike to work scheme to buy him a bike.

    I buy it through work and he gives me €500 for the bike.

    Just wondering will this affect my tax credits going forward at all?

    It has no impact on your credits the amount is deducted from your salary each month before tax.

    It is also illegal as the bike has to be for your own use

    Bike has to be for you! What you outline is tax fraud
