Saw this Qashqai deal . But new one 2018 and trade it in for new one in 2019 as long as you don't do over 20,000k.

Has anyone been tempted about this? What are the pros and cons of this deal?

If you went for this deal and wanted to sell a Qashqai second hand do they hold value well?

I am not overly interested in cars and know little about them really. How many miles to the gallon do you get from a Qashqai?

Think you have to pay list price. I’d rather get a tonne of discount and just buy one.

They used to do this deal years ago with Almeras and Primeras and it killed the resale values at the time.

Qashqais had a great start resale value wise, for years they were rock solid and were in demand but have slipped now that supply has caught up and people have moved on to slightly bigger machines like the Tucson/Sportage etc.

This deal kills the 2nd hand value.
Remember I bought a primera back in 2005 and in 2006 Nissan first introduced this deal. It absolutely killed the price of second hand vehicles which they ran the deal on as they had a glut of them and I imagine the same runs through again.

My experience of the Qashqai is that they do ok residual wise.

I wonder how they manage financing on this deal. Maybe they “sell” out the 191 at a heavily discounted price?
