hi all. im considering quickbooks as a way of electronic invoicing. at the moment I'm 10yrs + running a plumbing business, with turn over increasing 40% year on year for the last 3years with this year getting off to a good start.
I do all the invoicing with our accountants doing payroll, vat, end of year, rct etc..
my questions ... is quickbooks the right choice?
accountants use sage but im sure the software wouldn't be suitable for me to use.

i like the idea of having accounts for our clients as we have a lot of repeat business and business clients.

would QuickBooks online have ownership of my data like say any other online storage if you don't keep up subscription you loose your data?

    appreciate any feed back.

We use QuickBooks for several of our clients and I find it great. Does everything you need it to do.

They keep your data and allow read only access for 1 year after you cancel your subscription.

If you just need software to create sales invoices, you can use https://www.bullethq.com which is free for using the basic features including sales invoices. It's an Irish developed software so it can handle Irish VAT and Irish payroll.

We have clients who use it and are happy with it.
