Despite 1k repair bill, yet another problem crops up

I'm in trouble again, just days after replacing all 4 injectors on the 07 1.8 TDCI new shape Mondeo. Now the oil light is staying on for 7 seconds when the car is started and all the other lights are gone out immediately. I've never seen this happen but I think it indicates a weakness in the oil pump as it's slower to build pressure.

Car is going back to the garage first thing Monday morning. I honestly cannot take anymore with this car. Without sounding overly dramatic I'm quite upset. I seem to be spending all my time going from garage to garage handing out astronomical amounts of money.

What am I to do? Could this be another huge bill?

The only thing you can do now is take it back and find out what the problem is

Could be a sensor going wrong?
Personally if the oil light is staying on longer than it should I wouldn't drive it.
If it's a big bill then you'll need to make a decision if it's worth it.
If you fix it then at least you what has been done to the car whereas another car you won't know what has or hasn't been done (unless a fsh is included).

If the injector seats were not cleaned correctly the new injectors may not be sealing correctly allowing blow by into the oil system there by blocking the oil strainer with carbon.

This is not possible on the OP’s engine type.

Hey George, would you have an idea of what's going on here?

I had a 318 coupe and it was a faulty oil level sensor when this happened. Totally different care so good chance it's not bit you never know.
