    My 7 year old wants to get and learn the tin whistle.
    Any advice what one to get and anything else relevent appreciated.

    A bog standard one, in d, should be plenty for a beginner.
    Will they be learning in school?

    A tin whistle in the key of D is where most people start. They usually have a green mouthpiece.
