    Hello!

I am a 5th year student and my history teacher wants us to decide on our RSR projects now and have our first draft done in fifth year to save us from stressing in 6th year.

Im not sure which one out of the following projects to show my teacher but I’m finding it hard to find 1/2 primary sources and 2 secondary sources

Does anybody know of any links for any sources to the following:
    1. The Assassination of Reinhard Heydrich
    2. Something to do with Simo Häyhä
    3. Some approach on Nazi Germany (Anyone got any ideas for a project with this)
    4. Josef Kohout (Heinz Heger)

    Thank you ðŸ™ðŸ¼

For Kohout, your local library should be able to order 'The Men with the Pink Triangle', or it's available to buy on Amazon.

Yeah actually, I was looking online at that book a few days ago but no bookshop had it, I didn’t actually think of a library for it. I need three sources for next week so I have no idea how I’m going to find secondary sources because that book is the only thing I could find.

I would imagine any decent history of the Nazi persecution of homosexuals would quote Heger's book.
I recall a documentary made on the subject, but can't specifically say if it referenced it. Will try remember the title of it. It was probably on Channel 4.

Can't remember the documentary name, sorry. It focussed on gay and lesbian resistance to the Nazis.

It's a few years ago now but I did my history project on the aftermath of the assassination of Heydrich - the massacre of Lidice in Czechoslovakia. More info here.

I sourced most of my info in the local library. It's a long shot but if I find it i will forward to you.

Thank you so much! Would I nearly be better off doing “Persecution of Homosexuals in Nazi Germany” instead of just doing Heinz Heger? I nearly think I would get more info etc out doing it in General.

I did mine on Hitler Youth involvement in the battle of Berlin.

That was 6 years ago, but I remember my history teacher saying the best marks go for a specific aspect within specific area.

IMO, you're best off finding a area you like and try to narrow it down as much as you. Maybe a better project be persecution of homosexuals in nazi germany in the inter war years? I might be wrong but hope it helps :).

If you wanted to cover 'Lesbians in Nazi times' it would be even more specific and is quite an interesting topic. They are kind of 'hidden' victims. Ravensbruck was full of them.
They weren't necessarily seen as a threat to the Reich, so many of them worked with the underground resistance.

    **edit
wandered off on the Internet (as you do) and came across these two gals. Quite an interesting story.
