Hi, I’ve been told that my Stuart Turner M550N water pump is probably seized and will need to be replaced. I was quoted €770 for new pump including labour. The pump is about 10 years old, is that the average lifespan? (I do live in a hard water area) Anyway, it’s given me nothing but trouble over the years so if I replace…

Hi,

I’ve been told that my Stuart Turner M550N water pump is probably seized and will need to be replaced. I was quoted €770 for new pump including labour. salamander are now offering 5 years warranty on their brass body pumps. These are the same agents as Aqualisa so no Irish receipt then no warranty. Screwfix doesn't count as an Irish receipt as it ships from the UK
