I'm a 1st year in uni and was wondering when is the best time to apply for summer jobs. I heard it's usually around March & April but I and most students have exams in May so how does this work?? Is it normal for students to get jobs in April but not start till late May / early June because of exams. I don't want to get into the situation where I have to start work in around the time of my exams.
