Hi folks, been a long time since Lionel posted on Boards but I was reminded it could be an excellent place to reach fellow HMHB fans to let them know this is on this weekend at Bello Bar in Dublin.

As the legendary Half Man Half Biscuit simply don't travel this will be the first time their songs are performed in Dublin. Hoping it's not the last so please alert any biccies fans you might know.

Making their first trip to the capital Half Arsed Half Biscuit play their first show of 2018 at Bello Bar, Dublin on Saturday January 13th. See you down the front... Joy Division Oven Gloves are optional but encouraged.

"Half Arsed Half Biscuit perform the songs of Half Man Half Biscuit. I guess that makes them a tribute band. Though as Birkenhead’s finest Half Man Half Biscuit are unlikely to ever come to Ireland for reasons that are their own Half Arsed Half Biscuit sometimes prefer to think of themselves as proxies, emissaries, evangelists if you like. Preaching to the converted and hopefully converting the converteds girlfriend, boyfriend or mate from work.

Half Arsed Half Biscuit, staffed by a bunch who've served in many trenches with Theme Tune Boy, The Hitchers, Foxjaw and We Come In Pieces is a tribute born of nothing more than the love of the band, their wonderful songs and the desire to hear those songs live in Ireland.

The well-worn pathways for Irish fans of the notoriously travel shy Half Man Half Biscuit weave through the various airports and ferry terminals.
Half Arsed Half Biscuit present an opportunity to hear the incomparable genius of Half Man Half Biscuit here at home in Ireland, delivering a full 2 hour+ show of all the worlds Biccies favourites from a 30 year+ career. "
