Is 3 hours a night enough study?

I don't get home until 4.30. I usually start around 5, have dinner for half an hour at 6. I take 15/20 minute breaks from then until 9. Is that a decent amount? I'm aiming for 450

It depends on how well you're studying. But it's probably enough.

    This.
Set easily attainable targets. Study in small pieces. Recognise when you are tiring or your attention is wandering and take a break.

Quality over quantity, 3 hours is more than enough during the week, just make sure you know exactly what you're doing before you sit down to study so you don't waste time and get distracted, example don't go with the attitude "I'll do some maths now", have it planned in advanced like "Today I'll go over complex numbers in maths". I find study a lot easier and less boring when I now exactly what I'm going to cover.
