Hey guys x So I am in the middle of a bit of a dilemma. I have been going to a local counsellor for about six months. I was very depressed and have been for about 2 years(although it has gotten better). The initial reason I decided to attend counselling was because I considered leaving school(I haven't BTW) but at the time I just didn't care about anything and hated the very thought of school. At the beginning of my counselling sessions I felt that they really helped me relax and get more motivated to do things such as studying. However the past few months my counsellor has constantly been pressuring me to attend loads of grinds and to take a substantial amount of money from her which I did not want to take. I would come home very stressed and annoyed by this as my depression was the reason I attended her in the first place, not to be pressured and stressed on a weekly basis. Today I decided it was time to leave as I became very upset from these encounters with her. My question is does anyone know any counsellors in the Cork area who are fairly cheap to attend???? My last counsellor gave my sessions for free and my family don't have a lot of money. If anyone can help or give any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you x

Talk to any counsellor you find, and tell them that you are struggling to afford it. They may be able to offer a discounted price.
