I got this idea from the Glastonbury forum in eFestivals, the idea being popular enough DJS and electronic artists who wouldn't merit a thread, even though they are well known but not enough for a thread as it would sink without trace if its underground music. So non-mainstream electronic music and a sort of gig listing, just throwing it out there. Heres a listing.

Seth Troxler - Electric Garden & Theatre, 36 Upper Abbeygate Street, Galway City. 10 PM, Price at the door fifteen euros. Edit: forgot to put the bloody date 11th January

Anyone buy tickets for Carl Cox next year? Some of my friends are going but I think it's a rip off and last time I saw him I didn't think he was great.

Who's playing with him at the castle gig

Still says special guests, rumored one of them is Jon Rundell.
Its also a 3 hour coxy set

Belfast is Capriati, Peggy Gou and Ejeca

Find Cox boring these days tbh

Loved him when he used to lash out heavy techno but the stuff he plays nowadays does nothing for me

Much better techno djs out there imo

Haven't seen him live since the temple theater gig with green velvet, that was a pretty bonkers night, security chasing anyone with their tops off, can't remember a whole lot else.
I've watched a few of his recent gigs and think if the weather is right going to be a great summer party vibe and coxy throwing out a few hand grenades every now and again, he always made you wait for the drop, doesn't seem to have changed, it's all about the build up with him.

Bought a ticket to Daniel Avery in District 8 this weekend even though I've nobody to go with. He's doing a 4 hour set with some cool visuals by a dublin based company called algorithm. Should be good.
