I recently moved clubs. Got issued a new GUI card.

Can i change my GUI number and club on my current golfnet account?

Or do I deactivate and re-register using new GUI number? Will playing history pass across to new GUI number?

Thanks in advance, hoping someone has went through this already.

remember someone saying something here about it in the not to distant past
don't think they changed their number on existing account, but i seem to recall they got onto gui who moved their playing records from old account to the new one.

don't hold me to that, but worth scanning some posts, was deffo within the last 6 months or so. failing that, get in touch with gui and ask them

    That was me!

You need to email them to move the records. Explain the situation and give them both GUI numbers.

The system is brutal for moving clubs and that is probably due to the fact it didn't happen as much in the past as it does now.

I found your thread from early last year. So you emailed the GUI directly and didn't go through your handicap sec as mentioned in that thread?

No I went through GolfNet directly in the end.

Where did you get the GUI card from? Do I need to order one or should my club provide it as I never got one when I joined last year?
