i got a used goodmans free sat box, in the room were its required it is to be connected to a samsung plasma tv, which has all ready got a sky box an android box and a dvd player, all working perfectly, however i cannot get the freesat box to connect using the hdmi leads from any of their connections or via scart lead,…

i got a used goodmans free sat box, in the room were its required it is to be connected to a samsung plasma tv, which has all ready got a sky box an android box and a dvd player, all working perfectly, however i cannot get the freesat box to connect using the hdmi leads from any of their connections or via scart lead, however in the kids room it connects perfectly to an old battered lg set, ideas brain waves etc required, thanks in advance

a brand new hdmi lead solved my problem
