Overpaying Tax ( I think)

I am looking to see if I am right in thinking I am over paying tax. I got paid 4800 gross and I was taxed 2200 of it - left me with 2600 Net. I dont seem to be on emergency tax. I use to be on 43,000 per year and I only paid 600-700 per month in income tax, Now I got an 13k pay rise and I am paying 1600-1700 in just income…

Like after a 13k payrise, I am still getting the same into my bank every month. It cant be right.
I would appreciate any help here as I am hitting a brick wall with everyone I speak to.
