    hi all
I was made redundant just before xmas and have started the job hunt over xmas hols. In all so far, I have applied for 7 positions within my field, with varying levels of experience needed and varying salaries. I had one interview yesterday and another one lined up.
Now its been years since I was on the job hunt and I have a question that I hope you can help me with:
Lets say I go for a few more interviews and then get offered a position in one, but I want to wait to see what the others come back to me with - can I do that? what would I say to the person offering me the job? Or is it a case where I should just take the first one that comes my way?
    thanks a lot!

Well, how badly do you need a job? Can you hold out until you find the right one? In any event, you can accept a job and then leave it fairly quickly if something does come up but I am not sure you can say to them 'Oh, I will accept for now but if something better comes up, I will go elsewhere.'
