Northern Italy travel / weather alerts & realtime information

Myself and family are booked to travel to Macugnaga in Northern Italy this coming weekend for a weeks skiing. Given the very recent snow dump in the Alps, where would one get realtime travel information in english for the region? I have never been to Italy before. We will be flying into Milan renting a car from there. Tia
