    Hi Peeps!

I am looking to buy a 2016 (162) Audi A1. I've found one for €17k, but with 40,000km. Initially I thought it looked like a good deal but now I am not so sure as it is the SE Line and not the S Line (hadn't copped that until now!) and also the fact that there is that much mileage on what is essentially an urban / commuter type car.

Anyone out there willing to give me some advice? I don't know anybody who even knows anyone I can ask. I've put down a refundable holding deposit so I still have time left to do some proper homework.

    Much appreciated!

    Mileage is about average.

Perhaps post up a link to the car and people might be able to give some advice.

    Thanks Tossy.

This is the link to the SE Line Car: https://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/audi/a1/used-2016-162-audi-a1-sport-1-0-tfsi-kilkenny-fpa-4757415711899260204

I've done so much reading online - found this excellent website, https://www.honestjohn.co.uk for anyone looking to do some research on a potential car purchase.

    Thanks again :)

You might want to look at the new model Polo too. €17k for a 2 year old small car is a bit saucy, but I know - badge = cool.

Well its a main dealer so the price will carry that. On the other side you will be getting a decent warranty back up service (what your paying for).

Nice car tho.. probably get it for 16k.

On the size of it I would think long and hard that it will meet your needs, it's a world away from a Golf.

40k km is about 25k miles which is not excessive for a 2 year old car. 17k buys you alot of other small cars though.
