Tax implications for a new car

I’ve started a new job as a contractor in an IT company. I have to set up a new company and invoice the new employer for my hours through this new company. I live 40 mins away from my new place of work. I’ve a pretty old car...
Any one got advice on what I can do as regards buying, hiring, leasing a new car? Should I do it personally or run it through the new company? Obviously looking to lower the tax burden but to do so legally without dragging an Audit on myself
