holiday postcards

    I usually send a few postcards when away but it is becoming a chore to find a decent card then stamp and box. Then card seems to take an age to arrive. Can anyone recommend one of the online services where you can upload your own card and message and they will deliver for you?

    One suggestion:

    (My printer has a scanner option)

    You could physically write your postcard; your accommodation could scan on their side and save for you to attach to an email which you could then send from your own email account.

    Thanks for that suggestion. But I have seen some nice PC's sent via website with own message and photo. A quick look and I dont see one based in UK/Ireland save for printing companies that want to print off multiple copies.

    It would be just elderly folk non techie and appreciate the old style post! One idea is to get cards away, write up and post on return to Dublin. There is a post box at airport... at least postal rates would be local for Irish destinations!

    I saw an ad on TV for an app that lets you use your own photos as post cards, you write your message and they print it and post it for you.

    Just did a google search there - it's www.mypostcard.com

    That seems to do what you're looking for!
