Looking for advice as an aspiring Maths tutor (reaching people more)

    Hello there.
What would be the best way of getting word out there that I am a person available to tutor young people in Maths? Is handing out notices on local community boards enough? Is online tutoring an option? I'm extremely willing to work to help students in this subject but i've found that the biggest obstacle is actually getting customers.
    Any advice is appreciated.
If you are a student yourself and are looking for help over the internet, send me a private message!
    Thanks

I think nearly all tutors advertise on the net. Check out sites such as gumtree, adverts, grindscentre, etc.

How about volunteering with local charities and see how you get on before charging people?
The VdeP usually organise classes locally.
