Renault can clip, anyone in Carlow?

    Hi guys. I'm in Carlow and wondering is there anyone nearby with a Renault can clip or suitable diag that could turn off a parking brake warning for me on a 06 grand scenic. Thanks a mil guys.

    IIRC, thats an electronic handbrake.

    If its working, then any half decent scanner should be able to clear it.

    However, if the handbrake motor module is seized and not holding the car, it needs repair. The official way is to replace the complete motor/cable assembly, but there is a company in Rathcoole bus park that fixes them up for around €200-250 with new cables/motor and retains all calibration data, so it just slots back in.

    If the warning popped up after a dead battery disconnecting and reconnecting should clear the fault or at least it did in my case.
