Ive been out of work since mid october and receiving jobseekers. My wife is an accountant. she filled out the forms online for medical expenses etc last week. Got word back today and we're getting a refund of much higher then forecasted. she looked through the p21 and it seems they havent included my social welfare payments since october, she checked the form submitted and we have declared it. Should we tell revenue to review or if we take it do they take it back next year

    What form did you submit?
    Was it through ROS?
Was there a self assessment section?

I would if I were you, otherwise there is a strong chance will come back looking for it at some point and you'll have to pay it back!
