Out of work sick two weeks, no money

I've not enough credits for illness benefit. I'm out two weeks now and they're not paying me. I will return next week. I have all my certs. Can I visit my community welfare officer to get a payment? What will they ask me for? I work full time and receive nothing from welfare, HAP etc.
