Anybody have any experience or opinions on Ursus tractors? Thinkin of changing from my MF565 as it has a list of small problems as long as my arm and it doesn't make sense to fix them. Don't really need a much bigger tractor though, just something that can

lift round bales on moderate hilly fields bring the turf home do some topping fertilizer spreading be easily manoeuvred in a small yard
Decent cab for a bit of winter comfort
but most importantly be simple and reliable!!

Just saw an Ursus 475. 2000. 2500 hours.
Opinions on these? What would these be valued at.? Any advice would be appreciated!

Neighbour has an ursus 475 4wd. Always on the go, doing the jobs you list. Nothing fancy, but it is reliable. Cab is a bit small tho. One thing. 2000 hrs.... 18yrs old...

We have a 475 2wd version from new in 07,
Its very like the Massey, cab is basic but weather sound, doors are a heavy so needed a bit of bracing in the hinges.

its quite basic, has good ground clearance and any mechanic who looks at Massey will do anything you need on it.
quite reliable no big issues we had a small tanco loader on it and it was great for the round bales now that I've taken the loader and brackets off its bouncing on the front again.

Biggest issue is the clutch, ours would do brake your leg its so stiff, you can loosen it but it won't engage the pto then.

we put bigger wheels on the front and it was a great job too.
