Ballyhogue GAA club are running an adventure race fundraiser on the 3rd of February. It’s primarily aimed at GAA clubs as a pre season team bonding session with a huge cash prize available to the first GAA club team of 4 to finish along with individual prizes for the first male and female home.

Well worth a look for clubs with the option for clubs to send multiple teams for a reduced price. The entire race will be professionally chipped to ensure accuracy and has huge potential to be a great early season get together for clubs.

It’s a challenging but doable course and there should be some keen competition between the clubs for the prize fund

Thanks for sharing that info Kelt. I had seen the purple signs on the roads but couldn't catch what it was about. Sounds like a great event. Lovely scenery - especially the last leg running down the cycle track on Bree hill. Pity i'm a total lazy git
