Audi A4 dash lights staying on after starting

    Will probably have to bring in to the garage anyway but said I'd ask here in case someone has seen something similar and has any idea what's up (2010 Audi A4 saloon).

    Just over a week ago, when I started the car, all of the dash lights stayed on. Once I turned off and turned on again, it was fine. Today, the same thing happened again. I noticed that "DEF" was written where the odometer should be today (can't say for sure if that showed up last week or not - didn't notice it). Again, it worked perfectly once I turned off and on again.

    I tried googling it but can't find anything definitive. Anyone have any idea of the issue and potential repair costs...? Thanks!
