HDMI over CAT5e to AV receiver

    Hi,

From my Sky+ box I have a CAT5e HDMI extender to my living room. Direct to TV then the signal works fine but if I try to put the other end of the HDMI into my AV receiver then it does not work.
I understand that this can be an issue with HDMI over CAT5/6.

How do I solve it? What do I need to get to convert the HDMI over CAT5 signal to a 'true' HDMI signal that the AV receiver will accept?

    Thanks in advance...

    Mike
