Hi Folks, I'm toying with the idea of adding an additional heat source to heat an area of a house. any ideas?
Some background - currently the house is heated with UFH via a ground source heat pump. By and large I'm happy with the heat output but there's an area of the house that is a good few degrees cooler than the remainder of the house ( the downstairs hall and back bedroom). The area in question is about 8m2 or so. Would an electric radiator attached to the wall do the trick? It would be on for about 3 hrs an evening or so.
    thks..

my 2 cents would be work with what you have.

I'm guessing that there are more than one loop in the UFH system. Identify the loop that goes through the area you want the extra heat for.

Look at a system like climote or tado and add a wireless thermostat to the hall say and then a wireless actuator to the loop so that more heat goes to the area that is lacking.
