I am just wondering if anyone has purchased anything from this site and what their experience was like?

Half tempted to buy the new Garmin Fenix 5S watch from it and it seems fairly cheap

I have bought a I Phone 6plus from them a few years back, I had no hassles with them

Decent company, delivery can be slow and if customs get their hands on it any savings are gone

Just wondering if you went ahead and bought from eGlobal?
I'm looking to upgrade from the original Fenix3 to the 5 and the prices on eGlobal seem pretty good.

Hi guys! Has anyone received this tracking message before when dealing with Eglobalcentral?
“Due to unforseen circumstances there is a delay in your shipment. We will update here once we have news.”

Could anyone advise me what to do next. This is my first time dealing with this company. Many thanks

Go to the photography section of this forum and there is a huge Eglobal Central topic from photographers buying equipment and keeping updates in the thread.

I bought an expensive item off them before. It took time to arrive but it arrived and I saved myself about €300. I would recommend them.

@montana.monkey: I wouldn't worry too much. I'm not entirely sure but I remember something about eglobal claiming that they will pay the tax if it gets caught at customs. I don't know for sure but I do recall something like that. I must be worth it for them to pay tax on items for customers that do get stuck and still ship from Hong Kong or wherever they are.

Edit: Here's the thread from the photography section. You may find it useful. Remember, it's in the photography section so keep it on topic/relevant, if you are posting there.

I'm waiting on them to ship a phone to me. When I asked about shipping location and duties/vat, this is the reply I got..
We would like to confirm that orders placed on our site, are shipped out from our Hong Kong Warehouse as we are a Hong Kong Based company. The invoice we send is based only on the price of the item, any tax or vat amount will not be indicated on the invoice

However, we ship our orders with special logistics arrangement and therefore all you will need to pay is the prices on website, no VAT, import fees nor hidden charges involved for the customer on any order. Any VAT or customs duties incurred will be settled by eGlobaL. The price you see on the website is the final price you pay for the product.

Hereby, we confirm that we will settle VAT, related taxes and custom charges

Should you have any further inquiries, please feel free to contact us.
(Despatch seems slow, but it could be due to the item I ordered)
