I play PC games and I'm interested in gaming at 1440p on a TV. Does the Panasonic TV support 1440p and if it does what refresh rate (Hz) does it run at?

    Hi Eyerer.

The 40EX700 is a 4K television and has a resolution of 3840 x 2160. So in theory can run up to 2160p.

Panasonic use BMR to measure their refresh rate, which they say the 40EX700 runs at 1600Hz BMR.

Manufacturers now use their own measurements so can not necessarily be compared between brands. Examples include LG - Motion Clarity Index (MCI), Samsung - Clear Motion rate (CMR), Philips - Perfect Motion Rate (PMR), Sony - Motionflow XR and Panasonic - BLS (Back Light Scanning). All these figures are twice or more than the traditional 100Hz/200Hz refresh rate figures

    Hope this is of help.

Any questions please let me know.
