Dehumidifier not pulling water

I bought an Aldi dehumidifier in the last year and it was working fine. Didn't get used much. I've recently noticed it's not pulling water from the room as well as it used it. In fact it doesn't seem to collect any water at all. There's no warning lights and the filter is clean.

I was wondering, does it only work at certain temperatures or more efficient at higher temperatures? I know the manual said that it'll work from as low as 5°C but the only difference I can see (so far) is that it worked fine during the summer and not working this winter. I've tried it in different rooms and the car which definitely has a lot of moisture.

It also requires a humid room to dehumidify, sometimes the humidity simply is too low for the units to function, some heating systems can really dry out a house, does the room feel humid?

One way to test would be to move it into the kitchen and see if it collects water after some cooking.

That's what I was initially wondering. Now I haven't used it all that much but I do get condensation on some of the windows.

The first time I noticed it wasn't collecting water was when it was in the room where there was a shower. There's condensation on the window, so I stuck it in there after the shower for a few hours. That room does feel humid.

In the car the humidity was reading 70. Not sure how accurate that is.
