Hello everyone. I have no heat on rad in the house and one that gets a bit warm. The rest are roasting. This morning I removed the rad put a power washer through it to remove all the black crap. I opened all 4 walves individually so the flow looks good. I stuck it back on and it's the same. I have a combi boiler and the two valves into the radiator are working fine. What can I try next. Any suggestions appreciated.

Balance the rads? Where exactly is it on the line? Have you tried to turn off all the others and only leave the one you are having problem with on.

Balancing rads check to see if lockshield on other side of rads are not opened fully.

Do a google search on how to balance radiators.

Yes meant to say that I tried to turn all the rads off except that one and still the same. I'll have a look at balancing cheers

Would turning all the rads off except the bad one rule out balancing.

It would mean that there is no need to worry about balancing until you get it working with the others turned off. So turn off the working ones and work on the cold ones. You will most likely need a plumber if it doesn't heat with the others turned off.

Ok I tried with them all off except bad one and it's heating up. This didn't happen before I flushed it out, next step is balancing I presume.

Yes, but if poorly plumbed, it might be very difficult to balance, but you have a starting point now.
