Commencement Notice Problem

My neighbour has applied for a Commencement Notice supposedly and says he got one. But the planning has been appealed to An Bord Pleanala. He has started working and enforcement came out and said he has a Commencement Notice. There was previous planning permission granted before he bought the property and he said he can start work on the old house( his plans include a second house added on). Is there anything I can do?

I suggest asking a mod to move this to a more suitable thread. Construction and planning would be a good one

If it has planning sure he can start. The council is the only one who can really do anything but if they have been out and said he is good to go then really not much you can do. The planning app for the new build must be the one with an bord pleanla

Also get it moved to construction forum
