    Hi
    I am Currently on sick
Leave since August last year after being diagnosed with anxiety and depression. Before this I had been on maternity leave.

However while I’ve been off a new manager has been appointed- this is someone I have past experience with. To cut a long story short, she bullied me. And I am
Not sure I can return to the same team with her as my manager.

What can I do? I’d like to request a transfer to a different team
    Many thanks for any helps

Were the previous issues of bullying documented ?? This would help allot if they were.

Does your company have a HR department, you could request a meeting with a senior HR manager and discuss the problem.

If not maybe try to meet with a more senior manager.

Honestly, if there is no documentation of the previous bullying then your in a spot, it may be a matter of returning and then transferring when your back.

Also, being honest, with such a long absence history I’d be reluctant to accept you as a transfer until your attendance record had become more stable.

I’d echo what Brian says, unless the previous bullying incidents have been documented there’s not much you can do other than go back and ask for a transfer.

Though I can’t see anyone willingly taking you on so soon after coming back from a prolonged absence particularly if it appears the main reason for going back is that you’ve run out of paid sick leave (assuming your contract states 6 months).
