I've a techflow QT80 (dual head, hot and cold) booster pump. Its about 13 years old and used to supply a downstairs shower and upstairs toilet and wash hand basin. I've two issues
1. The shower goes cold after two mins of use. If then turned off (which stops the pump) and immediately restarted, it will heat again for a further two mins, before again going cold. There is plenty of hot water available in the cylinder. Any idea what is going on?
2. Is this hot and cold pump system suitable for refilling an upstairs toilet. Wont the hot pump head be dead heading, when there is a demand for cold water only?
