Travel Insurance for Egypt-Problem

    Hi all!

So, am heading to Egypt next week (holiday). It currently has green light tourist-wise.

But, Ive been advised by dept of foreign affairs to get insurance. Grandio.

I have tried to get quotes from a few companies. Some wont cover Egypt. Others, if I buy their policy, wont cover me if there is an incidence of me being hurt during an act of terrorism (even if it currently has a tourist green light).

Has anyone any advice who to try?

The only other option is to buy the usual travel insurance, and hope nothing happens to that effect. Ok-its a small risk something will happen, but its still a higher risk than other countries.

Most insurance policies exclude civil strife, revolution, invasion and terrorism. You'll have to either accept the risk or decide not to travel.
