    Hi,

I love CS: Source from years a go.

I want to purchase CS again. I have the option of Source or Global Offensive.

Just wondering as it's been years since I played CS Source.

Does Steam still provide ongoing updates for the game? Is it still pretty popular, lots of players?

    Or do you recommend GO?

Answers to above questions will help me make my decision. Thanks! :)

CS:GO is the better game I'd say (between it and source). Source was a big turn off for fans of 1.6 at least. 1.6 seems to have a bigger player base than source even. They're both not really that expensive so nothing stopping you playing both.

CS:GO all the way, Source is just plain clunky and awful now. Dump the default cross hairs. If you're used to CS I assume you'll have your own preferences but you can use CSGO crosshair generator to tweak what you want.

Found the hit boxes in GO to be better than Source. TBH, GO is a better continuation to 1.6 than Source was.

There's a reason that Counter-Strike eSports blew up to previously unheard of numbers with Go - it's the better game :)
