I have a 2007 skoda and the sream radio unit is giving some trouble. The unit turns on and off intermittently whether stationary or driving and there is an loud thump every time.

I removed the radio unit and checked the connections at the back but they seem ok.

Anyone got any idea what could be causing it?

Would it happen when there's radio playing or cd or either?

I normally just listen to the radio. But I’ll try it with a cd tomorrow.

Anyone know where the power cables for the radio are wired to? I think I have a supply issue.

All supply voltage comes off the fuse board

I looked in the fuse box down by the drivers side and I didn’t see any symbol for the radio on the layout diagram.

Aw, I feel let down. I came in here expecting a thread about making fizzy drinks on the move.
